3.1.18. Suspension bracket of the power unit

Check

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. For improvement of access to a suspension bracket of the power unit lift a forward part of the car and record on supports.
2. Check a condition of rubber elements of a suspension bracket for existence of cracks, aging and stratification.
3. Check reliability of fastening of engine mounts.
4. Moving the engine here and there, check a side play in engine mounts. New elements of suspension brackets have to have an insignificant side play even.

Replacement of a forward suspension bracket

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Unscrew bolts and remove draft of compensation of torque on the right side of the engine.
2. Lift a forward part of the car and record on supports.
3. Establish a jack under the engine and through wooden whetstone raise the engine until all weight of the engine is not perceived by a jack.
4. Unscrew a nut of fastening of a suspension bracket to a forward lower frame and the top nut of fastening of a suspension bracket to the power unit.
5. Raise the engine and take a support of a suspension bracket of the power unit.
6. Check all elements of a suspension bracket for signs of wear and if necessary replace.
7. Establish a suspension bracket support into place and fix by bolts.
8. Lower the car and establish draft of compensation of torque.

Replacement of a back suspension bracket

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Unscrew bolts, remove draft of compensation of torque on the right side of the engine.
2. Lift a forward part of the car and record on supports.
3. On models with the mechanical transmission weaken tightening a bolt of a rod of gear shifting and remove a gear shifting rod from draft of management.
4. On models with the automatic transmission disconnect a cable of the choice of transfers from the transmission.
5. Establish a jack under the engine and through wooden whetstone raise the engine until all weight of the engine is not perceived by a jack.
6. Unscrew the bolts fixing a back suspension bracket of the power unit to the lower frame and take it from under the car.
7. Establish a new back suspension bracket of the power unit and attach it bolts to the lower frame.
8. Lower the engine and take a jack from under the car.
9. On models with the mechanical transmission repeatedly connect a rod of gear shifting and, if necessary, adjust the gear shifting mechanism.
10. On models with the automatic transmission connect a cable of the choice of transfers.
11. Lower the car and establish draft of compensation of torque.
