GENERAL INFORMATION

The cooling system of tight type turns on the pump, an aluminum radiator, a broad tank, the electric fan of a radiator and the thermostat. At start of the cold engine cooling liquid circulates around the block of cylinders, a head of the block and a final collector. Warm cooling liquid passes through a radiator of a heater and comes back to the water pump. As cooling liquid when heating extends, its level in a broad tank increases. Intake of cooling liquid through a radiator is closed that provides the closed thermostat. When cooling liquid reaches the predetermined temperature, the thermostat opens and hot cooling liquid passes through a hose to a radiator. As cooling liquid passes through a radiator, there is its cooling with a stream of counter air. The electric fan of cooling of a radiator installed behind a radiator is run by the thermal sensor located in a radiator.

In addition to the ordinary sensor of the index of temperature of cooling liquid, temperature switches and sensors for ensuring work of system of injection of fuel and system of ignition are installed.

On models with the diesel engine of 2,0 l the additional thermostat was originally installed on the left side of the block of cylinders at the exit to the oil heater. However on later models this thermostat is not installed.

Prevention

When opening a cover of a broad tank on the hot engine, it is necessary to be careful since the coming-out hot vapors can lead to severe burns.

Do not allow hit of cooling liquid on clothes and a paint and varnish covering of a body. Otherwise wash out a surface a plentiful amount of water.

After switching off of the hot engine the radiator fan can turn on.
