GENERAL INFORMATION

Arrangement of bolts of fastening of the top guide of a chain

Removal

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Remove a weight wire from the accumulator and a cover of a head of the block of cylinders.
2. Remove the vacuum pump of the brake system.
3. Install the piston of the first cylinder in the top dead point in a step of compression and record a bent shaft.
4. For improvement of access to a cover of an asterisk of the fuel pump perform the following operations:
– remove a casing of the air filter and a forward exhaust pipe;
– take off an auxiliary driving belt;
– unscrew a fastening nut from a frame of a suspension bracket of the power unit and raise the engine so not to deform hoses and pipes.
5. Remove the top natyazhitel of a chain.
6. Remove the mechanism of a tension of a driving belt.
7. Unscrew bolts and uncover an asterisk of the fuel pump.
8. Put combination tags between the top chain and asterisks, and also between an asterisk of the camshaft and the camshaft.
9. Unscrew bolts and remove the top guide of a chain.
10. Before unscrewing of bolts of fastening of the top guide of a chain bolts need to be heated to soften the structure interfering unscrewing of bolts.
11. Using a wrench, fix the camshaft from a provorachivaniye and unscrew bolts of fastening of an asterisk of the camshaft. Before unscrewing of a bolt take a pin of blocking of a bent shaft and after unscrewing of a bolt establish a pin into place.
12. Remove a chain from an asterisk of the camshaft and take an asterisk from the engine. Under a chain install the screw-driver or a steel core to prevent its falling in a head of the block of cylinders.
13. Pay attention to identification tags on covers of bearings of the camshaft. Covers are numbered from 1 to 5 from a forward part of the engine.
14. Working on a spiral outside inside, weaken covers of bearings of the camshaft on a half of a turn for each pass before full unscrewing of bolts. It is necessary for gradual and uniform removal of pressure of valvate springs. Uncover camshaft bearings.
15. Remove levers from the top part of a head of the block of cylinders and you store them in the separate numbered packages.
16. For removal of hydraulic pushers remove a cross pipe of supply of fuel and, using a rubber sucker, or a magnet take hydraulic pushers and place them in the corresponding container.

Check

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Check the working surfaces of bearings of the camshaft and contours of cams for wear signs. With any wear the camshaft is subject to replacement.
2. Check an axial side play of a bent shaft. If the axial side play exceeds admissible limits, the camshaft is subject to replacement.
3. Check a condition of hydraulic pushers and nests for pushers in a head of the block of cylinders.

Installation

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Oil hydraulic pushers pure engine and establish them on the places. Establish a cross pipe of an injector.
2. Install camshaft levers by tags (A) to a cross pipe of supply of fuel (V) in a head of the block of cylinders.
3. Oil camshaft levers pure engine and install the camshaft in a head of the block of cylinders. At the same time cams of the first cylinder have to be directed up, and the groove on the left end of the camshaft has to be parallel to a surface of a head of the block of cylinders.
4. Check that the interfaced surfaces of covers of the bearing and a head of the block of cylinders, pure and dry and grease necks of the camshaft and cams with pure engine oil.
5. Apply a thin film of sealant on the top surface of a head of the block of cylinders interfaced to the left cover of the bearing of the camshaft and establish a cover.
6. Establish covers of bearings of the camshaft according to identification tags.
7. Tighten bolts of fastening of covers of bearings gradually and in a certain sequence, turning each bolt on a half of a turn for one pass until each cover does not concern a head of the block of cylinders. Then in the same sequence tighten bolts in several stages the required moment. Gradual and uniform tightening of bolts is necessary for uniform compression of springs of the valve.
8. Using earlier put tags, check that the top chain is correctly established on an asterisk of the fuel pump and dress a chain on a camshaft asterisk. Establish an asterisk on the end of the camshaft and establish a new bolt of fastening.
9. Establish the top guide of a chain.
10. Using blocking pins, check correctness of installation of the mechanism of gas distribution. Remove blocking pins.
11. Fix the camshaft from a provorachivaniye and tighten in several stages a bolt of fastening of an asterisk of the camshaft (at the left – tightening of a bolt the required moment, on the right – tightening of a bolt its dovorachivaniye on a certain corner).
12. Establish the top natyazhitel of a chain.
13. Check that the interfaced surfaces of a cover of an asterisk of the fuel pump and a cover of a chain, pure and dry. Establish a cover of an asterisk of the fuel pump with new laying or on a thin layer of sealant and tighten bolts of fastening of a cover the required moment.
14. Install the mechanism of a tension of a driving belt.
15. Establish the right support of the power unit and lower the engine.
16. Establish a cover of a head of the block of cylinders.
17. Establish a forward exhaust pipe, a casing of the air filter and the sensor of a bent shaft.
18. Install the vacuum pump of the brake system.
