3.2.5. Cover of a head of the block of cylinders

Removal

PERFORMANCE ORDER

Engines of 1,6 l

1. Remove the top section of an inlet collector.

2. Remove tips of high-voltage wires from spark plugs.

3. Release collars and disconnect hoses of ventilation of a case of the engine (are specified by shooters) since the left forward end of a cover of a head of the block of cylinders.

4. Evenly and gradually unscrew bolts of fastening of a cover of a head of the block of cylinders.

5. Uncover a head of the block of cylinders and check a condition of consolidations and washers under bolts of fastening of a head.

L engines 1,8 and 2,0

6. Weaken collars and disconnect hoses of ventilation of a case from a back part of a cover of a head of the block of cylinders (junctions of hoses are specified by shooters).

7. Unscrew screws and uncover spark plugs. Remove high-voltage wires from spark plugs.

8. Disconnect the electric socket from the camshaft sensor.

9. Evenly and gradually unscrew screws of fastening of a cover of a head of the block of cylinders.

10. Uncover a head of the block of cylinders and check a condition of sealing rings in nests under fastening bolts.

Installation

PERFORMANCE ORDER

	1. Check that a cover of a head and a surface of a head of the block of cylinders pure and dry. Establish laying in a head cover.
	2. Establish ring consolidations in nests under bolts.
3. Apply a thin film of sealant on a cover of forward and back bearings of the camshaft.
4. Establish a cover of a head of the block of cylinders and tighten bolts. You make tightening of bolts from the center for a spiral.
5. Connect hoses of ventilation of a case and fix them by collars. Establish high-voltage wires on spark plugs.
6. Establish the top section of an inlet collector.
L engines 1,8 and 2,0
7. Installation of a cover of a head is made in the same way, as well as for the engine of 1,6 l.
