3.2.4. Top Dead Point (TDP) of the piston of the first cylinder

GENERAL INFORMATION

The Top Dead Point (TDP) of the piston is a point through which there passes each piston at a provorachivaniye of a bent shaft. Each piston reaches the provision of VMT at the end of a step of compression and then again at the end of an exhaust step. For the purpose of installation of the mechanism of gas distribution of the engine VMT of the piston of the first cylinder in a compression step is used. The N1 cylinder is from a gear belt.
PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Remove a weight wire from the accumulator and unscrew spark plugs.
Engines of 1,6 l
2. For access to adjusting tags of a pulley of the camshaft remove the top casing of a gear belt.
3. Turn a bent shaft of the engine for a bolt of fastening of a pulley of a bent shaft until adjusting tags on pulleys of camshafts (A) are not directed to each other and will not be combined with the top part of a head of the block of cylinders (B).
L engines 1,8 and 2,0
4. For access to adjusting tags of pulleys of camshafts remove the top casing of a gear belt.
5. Turn a bent shaft of the engine for a bolt of fastening of a pulley of a bent shaft until adjusting tags on pulleys of the camshaft are not established in the top situation and will be combined with indexes on a cover of a head of the block of cylinders (1). Combine a tag on a pulley of a bent shaft with the index on the case (2).
