Removal

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Take off a gear belt. Before removal of a gear belt turn a bent shaft in the opposite direction approximately on 60 ° (4 teeth) that will establish camshafts so that pressure of valvate springs will be evenly on all length of a shaft.
2. Remove pulleys from camshafts.
3. On distributive to a shaft, operating inlet valves, working in the spiral sequence outside inside, evenly and gradually weaken bolts of fastening of covers of bearings of the camshaft. As soon as pressure of a valvate spring stops, unscrew bolts completely. Covers of bearings and the place of their installation on a head of the block of cylinders are numbered. (Camshaft of inlet valves from 1 to 5. Camshaft of final valves from 6 to 10).
4. Take the camshaft from a head of the block of cylinders.
5. Repeat actions for removal of the camshaft operating final valves.
6. Using a rubber sucker, take pushers from the top part of a head of the block of cylinders and you store each pusher in a separate package for the subsequent repeated installation of pushers on the places.

Prevention

Do not overturn hydraulic pushers as from them oil can flow out.


Check
PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Check the working surfaces of bearings of camshafts and contours of cams of camshafts for wear. With any wear replace the camshaft. If camshaft bearings are worn-out, it is necessary to replace a cylinder block head.
2. Check a condition of working surfaces of hydraulic pushers which contact with camshaft cams.

Installation
PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Oil hydraulic pushers pure engine and insert each pusher on the place in a head of the block of cylinders.
2. Grease necks and cams of the camshaft with pure engine oil and install the camshaft in a head of the block of cylinders. Check that the bent shaft is in situation on 60 ° from the top dead point of the first cylinder back, and turn each camshaft so that ledges of cams of the first cylinder were directed up. Temporarily install pulleys on camshafts and turn them so that the adjusting tag of a pulley was displaced on 4 teeth before VMT.
3. Apply a thin film of sealant to the interfaced surfaces of the right covers of bearings of camshafts (see rice. Places of drawing a thin layer of sealant on a head of the block of cylinders interfaced to the right covers of bearings of the camshaft).
4. Establish covers of bearings according to identification tags.
5. On distributive to a shaft, operating inlet valves, tighten bolts of fastening of covers of bearings of the camshaft a hand, then on a spiral from the center to edge tighten bolts of fastening of covers of bearings gradually and in a certain sequence, turning each bolt on a half of a turn for one pass until each cover does not concern a head of the block of cylinders. Then in the same sequence tighten bolts the required moment in several stages.
6. Similarly tighten bolts of fastening of covers of bearings of the camshaft operating final valves.
7. Establish new oil sealing rings of camshafts.
8. Establish pulleys of camshafts.
9. Combine all adjusting tags of pulleys with indexes and establish a gear belt.
10. Establish a cover of a head of the block of cylinders and casings of a gear belt.
