7.2.8. Removal of the transmission

Removal

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Lift a forward part of the car and record on supports. Remove forward wheels and a mudguard of the engine.
2. Merge engine oil from the transmission.
3. Remove the accumulator, a support of the accumulator and a starter.
	4. Disconnect the electric socket from the switch of a lamp of a backing and exempt conducting of the switch from fastening brackets.
5. Using a clip, press the hose connecting a nutritious tank and the main cylinder of coupling.

6. Weaken a clip of fastening of a hydraulic hose of coupling to a transmission case (it is specified by an arrow a photo at the left). Disconnect a hydraulic hose of coupling from the top part of a case of the transmission (a photo on the right).
7. Disconnect draft of gear shifting from the top part of the transmission.
	8. Remove the lower frame of a forward suspension bracket. At the same time support the engine.
	9. Take internal hinges of power shafts from the transmission and, using a soft wire, suspend them to a car body. Unscrew bolts (are specified by shooters) and separate the left support of the power unit from a forward part of a case of the transmission.
10. On engines with the steel stamped pallet unscrew bolts of fastening of a protective plate of a flywheel and remove it.
11. Establish a jack under the transmission and lift it so that the weight of the transmission was perceived by a jack. Unscrew bolts of fastening of a case of the transmission to the engine.
	12. Move a jack together with the transmission to the right, remove the transmission from the directing pins, lower down and take from under the car.

Installation

PERFORMANCE ORDER

Installation is made in the sequence, the return to removal taking into account the next moments:

  – check that the directing pins are in the place;
  – tighten all bolts the required moment;
  – replace sealing rings of power shafts;
  – establish the lower frame of a forward suspension bracket;
  – fill in oil in the transmission;
  – adjust the gear shifting mechanism.
