7.2.7. Backing lamp switch

Check

Inclusion of a lamp of a backing is made by the switch of plunger type which is screwed in in the top part of a case of the transmission. If the lamp of a backing does not join, first of all check integrity of the fuse.

To check serviceability of the switch, remove from it the electric socket and, using an ohmmeter, check resistance between contacts of the switch at the switched-on reverse gear. Resistance has to be equal to 0. Otherwise the switch is subject to replacement.

Removal

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. For improvement of access to the switch remove the accumulator and a support of the accumulator.
	2. Disconnect the electric socket and unscrew the switch (it is specified by an arrow) from a transmission case.

Installation

Installation is made in the sequence, the return to removal.
