GENERAL INFORMATION

Mechanism of the choice of transfers

 The mechanism of gear shifting consists of the lever of gear shifting, a rod and the mechanism of the choice of transfers.

Removal

PERFORMANCE ORDER
Lever and rod of gear shifting
1. Lift a forward part of the car and record on supports. Remove an engine mudguard.
2. Using paint or a marker, apply combination tags on a rod of gear shifting and a clip on a forward part of draft. Weaken tightening a bolt (it is specified by an arrow), having unscrewed it on two turns.
3. Move the gear shifting lever to the provision of the 4th transfer, exempt a gear shifting rod from a clip and take from a rubber protective cover.
4. Remove the central console.
5. Unscrew screws and remove finishing of the lever of gear shifting together with switches and disconnect from them electric sockets.
6. Unscrew 4 bolts of fastening of the lever of gear shifting to a floor and take the gear shifting lever together with a rod from the car.
Mechanism of the choice of transfers
7. Separate a gear shifting rod from a clip of the mechanism of the choice of transfers. Tightening the bolt is located in a back part of the transmission before a partition of a motor compartment.
8. Press a clamp (it is specified by an arrow a photo at the left) and remove the hinged finger connecting draft to the selector lever on the top part of the transmission (a photo on the right).
9. Remove a lock ring and take the mechanism of the choice of transfers up.

Installation
PERFORMANCE ORDER
Lever of gear shifting and rod
1. Grease all hinges of the lever of gear shifting, install the lever into place and fix by bolts.
2. Connect electric sockets to switches of finishing of the lever and establish finishing of the lever into place.
3. Under the car establish a rubber protective cover on a gear shifting rod.
4. Attach a gear shifting rod with a draft clip. Combine the tags put before removal and tighten tightening a bolt.
5. Check operation of the mechanism of gear shifting and, if necessary, adjust.
Mechanism of the choice of transfers
6. Grease hinged connections of the mechanism of the choice of transfers
7. Install the mechanism of the choice of transfers and fix by a lock ring.
8. Combine draft with the lever of the selector of transfers and fix by a new hinged finger.
9. Connect a gear shifting rod to a draft clip. Combine the tags put before removal and tighten tightening a bolt.
10. Check operation of the mechanism of gear shifting and, if necessary, adjust.
