5.1.19. System of production of exhaust gases

GENERAL INFORMATION

The system of production of exhaust gases consists of a reception exhaust pipe, the additional and main muffler. The catalyst is installed in cars with system of purification of exhaust gases instead of the additional muffler. All elements of system have folding connections and can be replaced separately. The reception exhaust pipe has additional fastening to a car body.

Removal

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Install the car over a viewing hole.
Reception exhaust pipe of SOCH engines of 1,6 l
2. Unscrew and remove the bolts and springs fixing a forward flange of a forward reception exhaust pipe to a collector.
3. Unscrew the bolts fixing a reception exhaust pipe to an intermediate pipe and take a reception exhaust pipe from under the car.
Reception exhaust pipe of DOCH engines of 1,6 l
4. Unscrew fastening bolts (are specified by shooters) a forward flange of a reception exhaust pipe to a collector.
5. Unscrew fastening of a reception exhaust pipe to a body arm. Unscrew bolts of fastening of a reception exhaust pipe to an intermediate pipe and take a reception exhaust pipe from under the car.
Reception exhaust pipe on models with l engines 1,8 and 2,0
6. Disconnect the electric socket of the sensor of oxygen located on sensor wires. Exempt a sensor electrical wiring from fastening brackets in order that the sensor could be removed with a reception exhaust pipe.
7. Unscrew bolts of fastening of a reception exhaust pipe to a collector.
8. Unscrew a nut of fastening of a reception exhaust pipe to a body arm.
9. Unscrew bolts of fastening of a reception exhaust pipe to an intermediate pipe and take a reception exhaust pipe from under the car.
Catalyst
10. Unscrew and remove the bolts and springs fixing the catalyst to a reception exhaust pipe and the bolts fixing the catalyst to an intermediate pipe. Take the catalyst from under the car.
Intermediate pipe of models with SOCH engines of 1,6 l
11. Unscrew the bolts fixing an intermediate pipe to a reception exhaust pipe and weaken the clip fixing an intermediate pipe to an exhaust pipe.
12. Remove an intermediate pipe from rubber suspension brackets and take it from under the car.
Intermediate pipe of models with l DOCH 1,6, 1,8 and 2,0 engines
13. Unscrew and remove the bolts and springs (are specified by shooters) fixing an intermediate pipe to an exhaust pipe.
14. Unscrew fastening bolts (are specified by shooters) an intermediate pipe to a forward pipe.
15. Exempt an intermediate pipe from rubber suspension brackets and take it from under the car.
Exhaust pipe
16. Unscrew and remove bolts and springs or weaken the clip fixing an exhaust pipe to an intermediate pipe.
17. Exempt an exhaust pipe from rubber suspension brackets and take from under the car.
