2.3.6.2. Replacement of the fuel filter

Engine of 1,7 l

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Merge fuel from the fuel filter.
2. Disconnect electric sockets from the temperature switch and a heater which are located between a plate of installation and the fuel filter.
3. Unscrew couplings and disconnect fuel-supply lines from the filter.
4. Unscrew nuts and remove the filter from a partition of a motor compartment. Separate the filter from the protection cover.
5. Unscrew the filter and remove sealing rings from a filter head.
6. Establish new sealing rings in the top part of the new filtering element.
7. Grease sealing rings with fuel and screw up the new filter, tightening only it a hand.
8. Fix a bolt at the fuel filter and the protection cover on a partition of a motor compartment.
9. Repeatedly connect fuel-supply lines with new sealing washers. Connect electric sockets to the temperature switch and an element of heating.
10. Start the engine and check tightness of fuel system.

Engine of 2,0 l

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Merge fuel from the fuel filter.
	2. Unscrew the central bolt of fastening of a cover of the fuel filter.
	3. Uncover the fuel filter a filter casing.
	4. Take the filtering element of the fuel filter.
	5. Check a condition of sealing rings.
6. Establish the new filtering element and fill a filter casing with fresh fuel.
	7. Establish a cover of the fuel filter and screw the central bolt (it is specified by an arrow).
8. Start the engine and check tightness of fuel system.
