11.1.10. Adjustment of light of headlights

GENERAL INFORMATION

The correct adjustment of light of headlights is of great importance for traffic safety. Exact adjustment is possible only by means of the special device.

For adjustment of light of headlights the screws located in a back part of a headlight are used. The internal screw is intended for adjustment of light in the horizontal plane, and the external screw – for adjustment in the vertical plane.

All models are equipped by the proofreader of light of headlights with the electric drive. The handle of management of the proofreader has to be installed in the following provision depending on loading of the car:

0 – driver and forward passenger;
1 – driver and 4 passengers;
3 – the driver and 4 passengers with freight in the luggage compartment.
