3.5.18. Installation of a bent shaft

PERFORMANCE ORDER
Petrol engines of 1,7 l
1. Take a bent shaft from the block of cylinders.
Clear a back part of an insert and the place of its installation in the block of cylinders and covers of radical bearings. Establish inserts on the places (on all engines, except the diesel engine of 1,7 l the central main bearings (A) have persistent half rings (V)).
2. Oil a working surface of an insert pure engine and install a bent shaft in the block of cylinders of the engine.
3. Measure an axial side play of a bent shaft.
4. Grease the lower inserts in covers of radical bearings with pure engine oil and check that ledges on inserts are in cover grooves. Establish covers of radical bearings with the first on the fourth and screw them, without tightening.
5. Check that a back cover of the bearing pure and dry then in grooves from each party of a cover put a layer of sealant and install a cover on the block of cylinders of the engine.
6. Grease bolts of fastening of covers of bearings of a bent shaft with pure engine oil, insert them into covers and tighten by hand.
7. Gradually and in the diagonal sequence from the center to edge tighten bolts of fastening of covers of bearings in stages (at the left – the required moment, on the right – a dovorachivaniye on the required corner).
8. After tightening of bolts of fastening of covers of radical bearings press sealant into a groove of a back cover of a bent shaft. Wipe surplus of sealant.
9. Check that the bent shaft rotates smoothly and without jammings.
10. Install pistons with rods.
11. Establish a new left oil sealing ring of a bent shaft, a flywheel, the oil pump, a head of the block of cylinders, pulleys of a gear belt and a gear belt.
Petrol engines 1,8 and 2,0 of l
12. Establish a bent shaft (see point 1).
13. Check that covers of bearings both the main block of bearings pure and dry then install the main block on the block of cylinders. Screw up bolts of fastening of the main block in the diagonal sequence from the center to edge the required moment.
14. Establish a partition in the basis of the block of cylinders and fix by bolts, having tightened them the required moment.
15. Establish new the left oil sealing ring of a bent shaft, a flywheel, the oil pump, a head of the block of cylinders, pulleys of a gear belt and a gear belt.
Diesel engine of 1,7 l
16. Take a bent shaft from the block of cylinders of the engine.
17. Clear a back part of an insert and the place of its installation in the block of cylinders and covers of radical bearings.
18. Establish inserts on the places, at the same time the ledge on an insert has to be combined with a groove on a cover.
19. Using a small amount of lubricant, fix persistent rings on a cover of the second bearing and check that lubricant flutes in each half ring are directed to a bent shaft.
20. Grease the top inserts of bearings of a bent shaft with pure engine oil and establish a bent shaft.
21. Measure an axial side play of a bent shaft.
22. Check that the lower inserts are correctly established in covers of bearings and install covers on the block of cylinders. Shooters on covers of bearings have to be directed to a gear belt of the drive.
23. Oil engine bolts of fastening of covers and in the diagonal sequence from the center to edge evenly and gradually tighten bolts the required moment.
24. Check that the bent shaft rotates easily and evenly.
25. Check that the interfaced surfaces of a back cover of a bent shaft and the block of cylinders pure and dry. Using a screw-driver edge as the lever, take a sealing ring from a cover.
26. Apply a thin film of sealant on the interfaced surface of a back cover of a bent shaft and install a cover on the engine.
27. Install pistons and rods. Establish a new back sealing ring of a bent shaft, then establish a flywheel, a casing of the oil pump, a head of the block of cylinders, a pulley of a gear belt and a new gear belt.
Diesel engine of 2,0 l
28. Take a bent shaft from the block of cylinders.
29. Clear a back part of an insert and the place of its installation in the block of cylinders and covers of radical bearings. Establish inserts on the places.
30. Oil a working surface of an insert pure engine and install a bent shaft in the block of cylinders of the engine.
31. Measure an axial side play of a bent shaft.
32. Grease the lower inserts in covers of radical bearings with pure engine oil and check that ledges on inserts are in cover grooves. Establish covers of radical bearings with the first on the fourth and screw them, without tightening.
33. Check that a back cover of the bearing pure and dry then in grooves from each party of a cover put a layer of sealant and install a cover on the block of cylinders of the engine.
34. Grease bolts of fastening of covers of bearings of a bent shaft with pure engine oil, insert them into covers and tighten by hand.
35. Gradually and in the diagonal sequence from the center to edge tighten bolts of fastening of covers of bearings in stages.
36. After tightening of bolts of fastening of covers of radical bearings press sealant into a groove of a back cover of a bent shaft (filling of a groove with sealant needs to be made until sealant appears from the opening shown by an arrow). Wipe surplus of sealant.
37. Check that covers of bearings both the main block of bearings pure and dry. Install the main block on the engine, at the same time the tube on the main block has to be directed to a chain of the drive of the mechanism of gas distribution Then establish bolts and in the diagonal sequence from the center to edge tighten bolts the required moment.
38. Establish a new left oil sealing ring of a bent shaft, then establish a flywheel, chains, asterisks and a head of the block of cylinders.
