3.1.6. Pulley of a bent shaft

GENERAL INFORMATION

Prevention

For fastening of a pulley of a bent shaft it is necessary to use only a new bolt.

Removal

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Lift a forward part of the car and record on supports. Remove the right forward wheel.

2. Take off an auxiliary driving belt.

3. Weaken a bolt of fastening of a pulley of a bent shaft. For prevention of rotation of a bent shaft on models with the mechanical transmission the assistant has to include any transfer and press a brake. On models with the automatic transmission unscrew one of bolts of fastening of the hydrotransformer and, using a steel core, fix a drive plate to a transmission case.

4. Unscrew a bolt of fastening of a pulley of a bent shaft and remove a pulley. At the same time be careful not to damage the sensor of a bent shaft.

Installation

PERFORMANCE ORDER

	1. Establish a pulley of a bent shaft (it is specified by an arrow) and fix it by a new bolt (it is specified by an arrow).
2. Record a bent shaft from a provorachivaniye by the same method, as when weakening a bolt of fastening of a pulley of a bent shaft.
	3. Tighten a bolt of fastening of a pulley of a bent shaft in three stages.
