Discharge of cooling liquid |
1. Uncover a broad tank. |
2. Remove a mudguard under a motor compartment and install a container under a radiator on the left side. |
3. Weaken a collar and remove a hose from the basis of a radiator and merge cooling liquid in a container. |
4. After discharge of cooling liquid establish a hose on a radiator and fix it by a collar. |
Washing of the cooling system |
5. Cooling liquid needs to be changed periodically, and to wash out the cooling system as in channels of system the rust and dirt is formed. The radiator needs to be washed out irrespective of the engine. |
Washing of a radiator |
6. Disconnect hoses from a radiator. |
7. Insert a hose into an entrance opening of the top tank of a radiator, include water and wash out a radiator before emergence of clear water from the lower tank of a radiator. |
8. If it is not possible to wash out a radiator clear water, then use detergent. |
Washing of the engine |
9. Remove the thermostat and disconnect hoses from a radiator. |
10. Install the thermostat and connect cooling system hoses. |
Filling of the cooling system |
11. Before filling of the cooling system check that all hoses inside in good shape. Pay attention that mix of antifreeze has to be used all the year round for prevention of corrosion. |
12. Uncover a broad tank. |
13. On SOCH engines of 1,6 l remove the sensor of temperature of cooling liquid from the top part of a casing of the thermostat. It is necessary for removal of air from the cooling system. On other engines removal of air comes from the cooling system automatically at warming up of the engine. |
14. Slowly fill in cooling liquid until level does not reach max tag on a broad tank. On SOCH engines of 1,6 l install temperature sensor after from an opening for the sensor cooling liquid, pure without bubbles, appears. |
15. Establish a cover of a broad tank. |
16. Start the engine and warm up it up to the working temperature. |
17. Stop the engine and cool it, then check the level of cooling liquid. |
